College opportunities for students with disabilities are expanding across the country. Learn about the predominant models of post-secondary education for students with intellectual disabilities and the college opportunities available for Utah students (i.e. Aggies Elevated, Wolverines Elevated etc.). Attendees will hear information regarding these programs, who they are suited for, and student outcomes.

Attendees will learn how they can help guide students in their transition process and consider these placements as options when discussing their future. Attendees will learn what assessment is necessary for application and how they as members of the IEP team can play an active and important part helping students prepare for post-secondary education.

This training is meant for school psychologists and school counselors, as well as any educator wanting more information regarding these programs.
